Music Studio 5 Focuses on Minimalist Design and Smart Bass
The Music Studio 5 is designed to integrate seamlessly into a living room environment, prioritizing subtle aesthetics over visual dominance. Samsung equips the speaker with a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters. Supported by a built-in waveguide that helps distribute sound more evenly. A key feature is AI Dynamic Bass Control, which optimizes low frequencies to enhance depth while minimizing distortion, even at higher volumes.
In terms of usability, the Music Studio 5 supports voice control, Bluetooth, and WiFi casting, making it compatible with a wide range of streaming services. Samsung positions the speaker as a “gallery-inspired” option that balances sound performance with understated visual appeal.
Music Studio 7 Delivers Immersive Spatial Audio
For users seeking a more premium experience, Samsung offers the Music Studio 7. This model features a 3.1.1-channel configuration with top-, front-, left-, and right-firing speakers designed to create a more immersive 3D audio environment. Samsung further enhances customization through its Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology, allowing finer calibration based on room acoustics.
Like its smaller sibling, the Music Studio 7 includes AI Dynamic Bass Control. It also supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96kHz. Samsung notes that the speaker can function either as a standalone unit or as part of a broader Samsung audio ecosystem, offering flexibility for different home setups.
HW-QS90H Introduced as an All-in-One Soundbar
Alongside the new speakers, Samsung unveiled the HW-QS90H All-in-One Soundbar. This model features a 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers, including nine wide-range speakers. Its integrated Quad Bass Woofer system delivers deeper bass without the need for a separate subwoofer.
The HW-QS90H also incorporates Samsung’s Convertible Fit design, allowing it to be wall-mounted or placed on a table. A built-in gyro sensor automatically adjusts channel distribution depending on orientation, ensuring consistent sound performance regardless of placement.
