One of the standout features of the Instax LiPlay Plus is its ability to pair images with sound. By using the Instax Mini LiPlay+ smartphone app, owners can attach a three-second sound clip to each photo they print. This can be done either while taking the picture or by adding sound after the fact. When the QR code on an Instax Sound Print photo is scanned with a smartphone, the audio plays, adding a layer of depth to the photo. Additionally, users can create an Instax Sound Album. A slideshow of photos accompanied by their respective sounds, for a more immersive experience.
The camera itself features dual lenses, including a 28 mm f/2.0 autofocusing main camera and a 23 mm f/2.2 fixed-focus selfie camera. Photos captured with these cameras are stored either in the camera’s internal memory or on an optional microSD card.
