This move comes as AMD’s latest APUs, featuring powerful integrated graphics, are making small form factor PCs more appealing. The MPC745 joins a growing list of mini PCs equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and Radeon 780M integrated graphics.
The Ryzen 7 8845HS is an 8-core, 16-thread CPU that delivers solid performance for both productivity and light gaming tasks. The Radeon 780M iGPU allows users to run modern games at modest settings without the need for a discrete GPU.
Redragon’s new entry aims to challenge established models like the Minisforum UM880 Plus and Geekom A8. The Geekom A8, for instance, costs $649 and has received favorable reviews. By pricing the MPC745 at under $500, Redragon is clearly targeting budget-conscious gamers and casual users.
