Vivo T4R Launches with Quad-Curved AMOLED and Dimensity 7400

lipflip – Vivo has launched the T4R, a new mid-range smartphone in its popular T4 series. The T4R comes in two colors: arctic white and twilight blue. It features a sleek design with a thickness of just 7.3 mm and weighs 183.5 grams. This makes the phone easy to hold and carry. The device sports a large 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display. Vivo has equipped the display with Diamond Shield Glass for added durability and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits for excellent outdoor visibility.

Powering the Vivo T4R is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device offers up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, although it does not support expandable memory. It runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box. Vivo guarantees two major Android upgrades, covering Android 16 and 17, alongside three years of security updates. This ensures the phone will stay current with software and security improvements for years to come.

The T4R supports a dual rear camera system. Its main camera uses a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), which helps capture clear photos. A secondary 2 MP lens adds depth for bokeh effects. For selfies, the phone has a 32 MP front camera that can shoot high-quality pictures.

The device packs a large 5,700 mAh battery, capable of fast wired charging at 44 W. Although the phone lacks wireless charging, its battery size promises long usage times. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers for immersive audio, and military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification for durability. The phone also holds IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing water and dust resistance.
