Happy Olympics 2008

According to Amnesty International China holds the current world record of executions with executing 1.010 people of 1.591 confirmed executions worldwide.

During the preparations of the Beijing Olympics 2008 tens thousands residents where forced to make room for fancy new stadiums and only got little compensation, millions of construction workers where chased away after finishing there work, and peaceful protestors are locked away and even tortured.

That’s what’s left over from the statement of the Beijing Olympic committee that declared that hosting the Olympics will ‘help the development of human rights in China’.”
